1.15 Inertia - Going Nowhere Fast

Bestest Friend and I are embarking on a new blog project. Each day of the month we will post a picture on a pre-determined theme and write a little something about it. The theme for the fifteen day of each month is "Inertia."

I used to really hate the “sitting around airports” part of travel, but now I sort of revel in it. When else do you get an opportunity to watch so many people in so many states of being? You have your stressed to the max folks (ahem, parents) who look like have lost their damn minds carting around children and car seats and strollers and binkies and blankies and OH MY GOD did you lose the stuffed Elmo?!  You have your too cool for school business travelers who do this every week and can’t be bothered to look at the awesome tiled inlays on the floor. You have your super excited teenagers/honeymooners/old people going to Cancun who just grin ear to ear the whole time. You get to see people who clearly haven’t run in years run to catch connecting flights. It’s simply amazing.

Maybe there is something to just taking time to be. Just every once in a while, though.
